2️⃣ 카페잡 인터뷰에서 나오는 질문 & 답변
Q. Can you tell me about your experience?
Sure! I worked at a brunch cafe in Seoul for six months.
I took orders, made drinks, and served food.
I’m used to fast-paced environments and I love working with people.
Q. What days and hours are you available?
I’m flexible with my schedule and available any day, including weekends.
Q. How would you deal with a rude customer?
I’d stay calm, listen to them, and try to solve the issue politely.
If needed, I’d ask the manager for help.
Q. Can you carry plates / make coffee?
Yes, I’ve done table service before.
I can carry 3 plates at once and I know the basics of espresso shots and milk frothing.
3️⃣ 일하면서 쓰는 영어 표현
🥣 서빙 & 오더 받을 때
- Hi there! Are you dining in or taking away?
- Can I grab your order when you’re ready?

🧹 매장 정리 & 바쁜 시간대
- Can you please clear table 3?

🧠 호주 문화 포인트
- “Boss”보단 “Manager” 또는 그냥 이름 부르기
- Shift는 주 2~3회로 시작 → 자리 잡으면 늘려줌
- 현지인은 “Thanks, love” “Cheers, mate” 같은 말 자주 써요
- 간단한 Small Talk 좋아해요 (ex. “How was your weekend?”)
☝️ 팁: 뭔가 어려울 땐 이렇게 말해요
“Sorry, I’m still learning – could you please say that again slowly?”
🐨 실수담 방지! 이런 말은 주의하자
❌ “I can do everything.” → 다 잘한다는 말은 오히려 의심받음
✅ “I’m confident in customer service, and I’m keen to learn more.”
❌ “What do you pay?” → 너무 직설적
✅ “Can I ask what the pay rate is for this position?”
❌ “I don’t speak English well.” → 면접에서 스스로 깎아먹는 말
✅ “I’m still improving my English, but I always try to communicate clearly.”

- **Trial shift(체험 근무)**는 거의 무조건 있음. 보통 1~2시간.
- 무급 트라이얼은 불법이지만 현실에선 존재하기도..
- RSA 자격증: 주류 취급 카페에서 필수

- CV는 무조건 출력해서 직접 돌리기!
